Jefferson County, Georgia Assets Index Report Released

As a part of the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities’ work in Jefferson County, Georgia under the Endowment’s newest Initiative Asset Creation, Intern Katie Premo has completed an extensive data study of the County that will serve as a tool for the asset creation process. The Jefferson County Assets Index is a compilation of economic and social data from a variety of sources aimed to help determine the importance of certain community aspects. Serving as a tool for conversation stimulation, this report will help community members identify social and economic trends within Jefferson County by comparing year-to-year data within Jefferson as well as with surrounding county, state, and national data.
