Endowment Elects Board Members and Officers
At its Board of Directors meeting in Minneapolis, MN, November 3-4, 2008, the U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities (the Endowment) re-elected four members to new three-year terms. Those with terms expiring and who were re-elected were Peggy Clark, Mil Duncan, Bruce Miles and Jim Rinehart. Additionally, two officers — Mil Duncan, Vice Chair and Duane McDougall, Treasurer — were re-elected to additional one-year terms of service. “With this meeting the Endowment celebrated its second anniversary,” said Endowment President Carlton Owen. “During our formative period we’ve been blessed to not only have the services of an outstanding and deeply-experienced board of directors who share their time and talents selflessly but also to have navigated this early period with stable leadership.”
