Endowment Releases 2008 Annual Report
The U.S. Endowment for Forestry and Communities (the Endowment) today released its 2nd annual report. “We are pleased to be able to share with all interested parties the results of the Endowment’s second year in operation,” said Endowment President Carlton Owen. “While the 2007 report primarily addressed structural issues and strategic directions, the 2008 version provides a holistic look at the Endowment’s programmatic engagement.” Published copies of the report are being shared with every member of Congress and electronic copies (both in full color and black & white) are available for immediate download (Color PDF / Black & White PDF). “The Endowment’s Board of Directors has established a high standard for openness and transparency in all that we do,” said Owen. “This report, not only provides a full accounting of programmatic investments but it does so in a very timely way.” The document is being released fully six weeks earlier than the 2007 version.
