The Shade Fund
Together with The Conservation Fund (TCF), the Endowment created an online lending platform matching forest- and natural-resource based enterprises and entrepreneurs with potential lenders. ShadeFundTM, now a part of TCF’s Natural Capital Investment Fund, was created to provide capital to small businesses that are building local economies and supporting working forests through green business models in rural areas.
